I remember over 20 years ago, Barry & I were driving through a fabulous sub-division of very expensive homes. At the time, we were earning about $60K/year between the two of us. I distinctly remember saying "Wow, look at those houses.....we will never be able to afford something like that".....And here is the sad thing.....THIS is the way most of society thinks....from a poverty consiousness. People spend their whole lives on the sideline of life watching other people live their dreams and wonder why they are not fulfilled and happy. People think they have to stay stuck in circumstances!

When I think back, I am struck by the distinct difference in our thinking from then to now ....THANK GOODNESS we learned to think differently! Circumstances have nothing to do with where you are going! Everything is a CHOICE.....you either choose to accept your excuses and circumstances, or you take a stand for what you really want in your life, get out of your own way and start making the CHOICES that will move you towards your dreams instead of being a victim of circumstances. I learned new ways to think and got rid of my old "conditioned" way of thinking and I believed that if I wanted it and was willing to work for it, I could achieve it some day. And, THAT is exactly what happened.....we now live a life of total freedom!

If you find yourself as the person gazing through the window at what you'll never have, you need to change your mentality. You need to begin to focus on what you can have, and what you will achieve.
